(March 17, 2017) - The tribute artist, Philip Bauer, who has traveled the world entertaining fans as the legendary man in black, Johnny Cash, has joined the roster of Briley Management Group.  2017 is already shaping up to be a busy year for Bauer, who will continue to bring the spirit of Johnny Cash alive with tours across the United States, Australia, Canada and Mexico.  "I'm really excited to work with Philip", says Briley Management Group President, Jeff Riley.  "His ability to bring the music of such a legend to life is so impressive and I know that his career is going to continue to blossom."

Philip Bauer began his entertainment career in 1985 by winning a state wide talent contest in Minnesota. Bauer took 1st place in a field of over 800 contestants at the Minnesota State Fair. In 1986 he was asked to perform nightly at the fair with a 40 piece orchestra. 

Throughout the 90's, Bauer played in bands performing his own music as well as his many impersonations of various artists.  Philip Bauer has performed on national television shows such as Charlie Daniels Talent Roundup on TNN and World's Greatest Tribute Bands on AXS TV that broadcasted into 48 million homes.  Bauer has also had the privilege to perform with many country music stars including LEANN RIMES, DAVID FRIZZLE, VINCE GILL, JIM ED BROWN, and TOBY KIETH.
